Native to the Carolinas I was born in Charlotte NC and moved to Brunswick County just after high school in 1999. It was there that I learned the art of framing houses from Bald Head Island, Oak Island and Southport. In 2006 I moved back to Charlotte and started remodeling homes with an emphasis on trim and finish carpentry.

In 2012 I started working with my father in his Furniture company and shortly after he got sick and couldn’t work anymore so I stepped in and took up his position but was not happy with what I was doing as building and remodeling homes was my passion.

In 2018 I sold my shares of the company to my brothers, and my wife and I moved to North Myrtle Beach to start the next chapter in our lives which include Milam Customs. I started out just doing small jobs and in 2021 I got my NC Builders License followed by my SC builders license.
