Choosing someone to make renovations at your home is a stressful endeavor, unless you're fortunate enough to find someone of Matt Milam's caliber. I watched from a distance as he made an addition to a neighbor's home and was quickly impressed by the quality of work being done. After an interview with Matt we scheduled a time for him to come take a look at the project we had in mind...a porch addition. Matt was considerate of our time and offered great suggestions before we settled on a final design plan. We agreed on terms and he laid out a detailed timeline. I've worked with several contractors through the years and I will say that Matt and his team exceeded our expectations. Matt was present, available, and approachable throughout the process. He handled every possible obstacle and delivered a beautiful outdoor living space that has made our island home even better than we could have imagined. We had the privilege of working with Matt on the addition of the roof over our back porch and the addition of louvres on the porch to provide privacy. Matt delivered!! I wanted a 20x10 deck built on back of my Townhouse. Since I was fairly new in the area searching for a reliable builder was a challenge, so I reached out to Angi and I’m so glad I did because I found Matt at Milan Customs LLC. Matt came out and we talked about materials, size and costs of materials. Of course what I wanted was expensive and Matt found a lesser prices on all materials. And it came out better than I imagined. Matt’s price to do the job was extremely reasonable too. When the materials arrived they were flawed and Matt had them returned, everything had to be perfect including his craftsmanship. He always showed up and called when he couldn’t. Even after he was paid in full he came back for some finishing touches. We now have a beautiful deck to enjoy for a long time. Thank you Matt!!!
